Kia ora koutou y bienvenidos,
I鈥檓 an 艑tautahi local with whakapapa from as distant as Vernado Tuerto, Sante F茅, Argentina and Oamaru. I completed my PhD in History at Te Whare W膩nanga o Waitaha | UC in 2022 with a focus on the history of the American immediate abolition movement and have tutored almost the entirety of human history from the creation of the Earth to the twenty-first century.
Self-construction is a major theme of my research and I鈥檓 passionate about helping 膩konga develop learning strategies that enable them to thrive at UC and beyond. My Kaitohutohu Whaikaha colleagues and I at SAS are happy to help you build the pillars of success in your chosen field.
I鈥檓 an avid musician (electric blues and funk guitar are my speciality) and composer in my spare time. To quote my favourite guitarist and composer Frank Zappa: 鈥淎 mind is like a parachute. It doesn鈥檛 work if it isn鈥檛 open.鈥
