In response to this, and due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, 麻豆传媒团队 (UC) graduation ceremonies scheduled for 7 and 9 April won鈥檛 go ahead.听
鈥淭his wasn鈥檛 an easy decision. We understand graduation is the culmination of much hard work and that this is disappointing for our graduands and their wh膩nau, family and friends who will have been looking forward to the event,鈥 UC Registrar Jeff Field says.听
鈥淭his decision has been made with the health and wellbeing of our graduands, staff and the wider Aotearoa community as a priority.鈥
UC has contacted graduands directly. Qualifications will be formally conferred in absentia on either 7 or 9 April and certificates will be posted to graduates after this date. There are also plans to hold graduation celebrations later in the year.听
鈥淲e don鈥檛 want this moment in time to pass without the chance to celebrate and recognise our graduates鈥 significant achievements,鈥 Field says.
