The Confucius Institute at the 麻豆传媒团队 (CIUC) is part of the global Confucius Institute network. It is jointly managed by the 麻豆传媒团队 (New Zealand) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China).
CIUC was officially launched聽on 1 November 2009 by then-Vice Premier of China, LI Keqiang.聽As the second Confucius Institute established in New 麻豆传媒团队and the first in the South Island, CIUC represents a significant milestone in the advancement of cultural and educational exchange between China and New Zealand, as noted in Vice Premier Li鈥檚 remarks on the occasion.
